The shared-lead trick

When Thumbtack sells the same lead to 5 installers, each of you pays the $50 fee. Thumbtack collects $250 on one homeowner. 4 of you pay for nothing. Rendaero charges one team, one time, for one homeowner — and the homeowner only ever talks to you.

I'm already locked into Thumbtack / Angi. Do I have to drop them?

No. Keep running them. We'd actually prefer that — after 90 days you'll know in your own CRM which channel is actually paying. Cut what isn't. The whole point is making the comparison easy.

What if the AI renders look wrong on a weird-shaped yard?

You get access to review every mailer during a set window before each drop goes out. If a render looks off, flag it in that window and we'll redo it for free — nothing prints without your review.

How do you decide which homes to mail?

Several signals combined — not just lawn color. We pull single-family owner-occupied homes in your service area, then layer property data (home value, lot size, ownership tenure) to focus on households likely to actually buy. On Growth and Scale tiers, custom targeting focuses the list on the homes that best fit your typical job. The render on the postcard is what gets them to call — but the targeting is what gets the postcard to the right mailbox in the first place.

Do homeowners get freaked out by AI-rendered postcards of their house?

Every image is captured from the public street, and any homeowner can request that theirs be removed at any time. The reaction we see is "wait, that's MY house" → they screenshot it and text it to their spouse. The postcard becomes a conversation in the household before it becomes a call to you.

What if I don't get any callbacks the first month?

Two things. One: direct mail compounds — most teams see the first calls land 2–6 weeks after the drop, and the bulk of callbacks land in months 2 and 3. That's why we cut your first month in half — to make the entry into the channel as low-risk as possible. Two: if callback volume is materially below the 4% industry benchmark after a real campaign window, talk to us. We'll review the qualifier accuracy and the creative on the postcard with you.

Is the postcard branded as Rendaero or as me?

Your company. Every postcard ships fully white-labeled — your logo, your colors, your offer, and a tracked phone number we assign to your account that auto-forwards calls straight to your line. There's no Rendaero mark anywhere on the mailer. From the homeowner's perspective, it's direct mail from your company; from yours, every call gets attributed back to a specific postcard.

How is this different from Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM)?

EDDM hits every house in the zip — green lawns and brown lawns alike. You're paying postage on 80% of homes that don't need turf. Rendaero only mails homes where satellite imagery shows the lawn actually needs replacing. Same delivery method, way less wasted postage.

What does the platform fee actually cover?

The platform fee includes a starting allotment of mailers (200 / 500 / 1,000 depending on plan) and covers the full automation pipeline — satellite scan, AI qualification, per-property renders, USPS-tracked fulfillment, QR + call attribution, your dashboard. You pay extra only for mailers above the bundle and for actual phone calls that land.
